The Houston Chronicle is reporting that Rockets guard Aaron Brooks will be named the NBA’s Most Improved Player on Thursday, according to a person with knowledge of the voting.
The 25-year old averaged 19.6 points per game this past season, an increase of 8.4 points per game. He also increased his assists per game by two and led the NBA in three-pointers made (209).
This is the second award Brooks has one in the past two years. Last year the Rockets honored him with the “Come On Man, You Are A Lot Better Than This” award. It’s obvious he listened.
