High school softball coach Kevin Jones has been accused of having sex with his daughter's 14-year-old best friend (video below).
Jones, 34, reportedly called her "baby doll," had her call him "daddy" and threatened to kill any boy that she liked.
Jones, of Falls Township, Pennsylvania, denies the charges, reports the Daily Mail.
When deputies obtained a warrant to search his home for evidence, Jones' house suddenly burned to the ground hours before police made their search. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Fairless Hills Police Lt. Henry Ward said there are photographs of Jones and the girl posing together and more than 1,000 emails, Facebook messages and texts (some of which are sexually explicit).
Lt. Henry Ward told CBS News, "Mostly through various emails that were going back and forth through the victim and Jones, a total of 1,400, it was obvious that a sexual relationship had occurred between the two."
Jones, a married father of two, was arrested on Jan. 9 and charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a minor, aggravated assault on a minor, statutory sexual assault, indecent assault, corruption of minors and unlawful contact with a minor.
Jones coached for the Levittown American and Levittown Bulldogs girls softball teams, Lt Ward said, and they fear there may be more victims. The victim was on one of his softball team along with his daughter.
