If they ever start jailing people for crimes against civility, radio host Pete Santilli would be wise to get an attorney.
Santilli made one of the most horrific comments yet about Hillary Clinton on his talk show, saying he wants “to shoot her right in the vagina” for the Benghazi attacks.
(Warning: Disturbing language below.)
On his internet radio show, Santilli said:
I want to shoot her right in the vagina and I don't want her to die right away; I want her to feel the pain and I want to look her in the eyes and I want to say, on behalf of all Americans that you've killed, on behalf of the Navy SEALS, the families of Navy SEAL Team Six who were involved in the fake hunt down of this Obama, Obama bin Laden thing, that whole fake scenario, because these Navy SEALS know the truth, they killed them all. On behalf of all of those people, I'm supporting our troops by saying we need to try, convict, and shoot Hillary Clinton in the vagina.
Santilli is known for his far-fetched conspiracy theories (such as how George H. W. Bush was involved in John F. Kennedy’s assassination), but this comment takes his repugnancy to a whole new level.
The biggest problem with Santilli’s comment, however, isn’t the blatant disrespect of a former highly-ranked government official, it’s the blatant sexism. Female politicians have faced a much tougher battle to achieve their status in Washington than their male counterparts, often getting treated by their peers and the media as if having a uterus is a handicap.
Comments such as Santilli’s are making it more and more acceptable to degrade female figures using gender-charged language, a tactic rarely used against males.
Santilli’s comment — and very existence — is a crime against civil society and lowers humanity's average IQ by at least 20 points.
