A new doll designed to look like an ill premature baby, with breathing tubes, has been slammed by a premature baby charity.
The premature baby doll sells for about $1200 in the U.K.
Medical toys for use with the doll can be purchased an additional $50, reports the The Sun.
The toy's manufacturer claims the doll would help parents of sick newborns get through their grieving process.
However, Sue Williams, of premature baby charity Adapt, told The Sun: “It’s sick. The dolls aren’t comforting. They only extend the grieving process.”
