A high-end swingers party in the Lower Manhattan neighborhood of SoHo came to an acrimonious halt when a group of shady security guards were caught snapping voyeuristic photos of guests.
The exclusive mixer (and we do mean mix) was held on Saturday night at the Mondrian Hotel. Apparently the secretive and affluent guests filing into the tony sex party piqued the interest of the Mondrian’s security staff, because a handful of guards were caught red-handed taking photos and video of the swingers.
According to New York’s Daily News, the event began with a lingerie photo shoot before transitioning into the erotic portion of the evening. It was during the second half of the night that guests began complaining about being photographed and followed by unnamed hotel staff.
“I heard those kinds of reports from guests,” said an organizer of the Behind Closed Doors Party managed by the School of Sex. “I did hear that hotel security tried to go into rooms and say things had to be shut down. They noticed there were a lot of attractive people – one of whom was a celebrity. We insisted this was a private event…It’s not appropriate when you have people’s identities that you want to protect.”
School of Sex hosts monthly swingers parties at some of New York City’s swankiest venues. The events are regularly attended by some of the Big Apple’s most prominent lawyers, judges, businessmen and politicians, so organizers say the need for anonymity is paramount.
