Obama Fights Back Against Health Care Reform Critics

After strong Republican opposition to the health care reform bill forced President Obama and Democrats into a defensive position, the president has recently begun to take the offensive, hitting the airwaves and speaking at town hall meetings to aggressively dispel what he calls the "phony claims" perpetuated by the bill's critics.

In his weekly radio and internet address Obama took a strong stance against claims that the bill would create a so-called "death panel" and slash benefits for the elderly, saying "enough with the myths already."
