Texas Healthcare Worker Diagnosed With Ebola Was On Plane Flight Day Before Diagnosis

The Texas Department of State Health announced on Wednesday morning that a second healthcare worker who helped treat Thomas Eric Duncan was diagnosed with Ebola.

Just a few moments ago, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued a statement saying that the healthcare worker in question traveled by air on Oct. 13 – a mere day before she first noticed any Ebola symptoms.

The CDC is now asking all passengers who flew on Frontier Airlines flight 1143 Cleveland to Dallas/Fort Worth to call 800-CDC INFO (1 800 232-4636).

There were 132 passengers in all on that flight.

According to the CDC, the healthcare worker in question did not show any symptoms of Ebola during the flight.
