Around 4 p.m. yesterday evening, a 39-year-old warehouse worker at 107 West Side Ave. in Jersey City was hospitalized after being crushed by 1,500 pounds of pineapples.
Bet nobody saw that one coming.
The good news is that the man was left relatively unscathed. Robert Luckritz, director of the hospital's EMS Unit, says the man “never lost consciousness and was in stable condition at the hospital this evening.”
No other details about the event have been publicized.
