Judy Viger was arrested on Monday for allegedly hiring strippers to perform at her 16-year-old son’s birthday party at the Spare Time Bowling Center in South Glens Falls, New York, last November.
According to WNYT-TV, Viger was charged with five counts of endangering the welfare of a child, which are misdemeanors.
Police claim that Viger paid two adult female entertainers to perform “personal and intimate dances” at the birthday party, which was attended by five teens younger than 17.
“The charges stem from an allegation that she endangered not only the welfare of her own child, but the welfare of the 14- and 15-year-old children that were at the birthday party as well,” said Saratoga County District Attorney James Murphy.
Police were originally told that the strippers were just a “bikini gram,” but they learned otherwise after viewing pictures and talking to witnesses about the X-rated birthday party.
While parents have complained, the young men have not.
