An unidentified man from Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, had a 30-year-old cyst popped on his back and the gross ordeal was shared on YouTube (video below).
In the video, the man is hunched over, shirtless, and clenching his fists as a woman, wearing gloves with a tissue in her right hand, places her fingers around the large cyst on his back.
She then squeezes the red cyst, it opens and a yellow matter pours out in a thick stream.
“I don’t even want to know what it looks like,” the man with the cyst says. “What is it doing?”
“Holy f***!” another man in the room says as the matter expels from the cyst.
“Oh my God, that’s f***ing disgusting!” a woman in the background says, as others laugh and respond in various ways.
A woman then exclaims that what is coming out of the cyst looks like cheese.
The woman continues to squeeze the cyst and more yellow matter comes out, breaking into pieces on the man’s back.
She then shows the man what came out of his body, which causes him to jump and startle the cameraman.
The video has been viewed more than 700,000 times.
Other than the cyst being 30 years old, there is no other information given with the video on what type it may be or whether the man had seen a doctor before having it expressed.
Many share videos of cysts or pimples being popped online, with one doctor making a name for herself by sharing videos.
Dr. Sandra Lee, a board-certified dermatologist, skin cancer surgeon and cosmetic surgeon, refers to herself as “Dr Pimple Popper” and shares videos of her popping patients' pimples and cysts, among other things.
A video of her extracting a blackhead from an 85-year-old has been viewed more than 24 million times. A recent video of her popping a cyst has had more than 1 million views.
