Kraft is recalling around 36,000 cases of individually-wrapped slices of Kraft Singles because part of the wrapper could potentially become a choking hazard.
The recall includes select code dates and manufacturing codes due to the possibility of a strip of the packaging film sticking to the slice of cheese after the wrapper has been removed.
The film could become a choking hazard if not removed entirely.
The recall applies to three and four pound boxes of Kraft's American and White American slices with a "best when used by" date of December 29, 2015 to January 4, 2016, followed by the manufacturing code "S54" or "S55."
The company said that it received ten complaints and that three people reported choking.
The packages being recalled were distributed to the United States, Grand Cayman, and Puerto Rico.
Anyone who purchased one of these products should return it to the store for an exchange or full refund.
