Jessica Simpson is set to sign a $4 million deal with Weight Watchers to lose her baby weight after her pregnancy.
The singer is expecting her first child with fiance Eric Johnson but before she became pregnant she had been in talks with the company to become their new rep after gaining weight.
But Jessica, 31, will now use Weight Watchers’ healthy eating plan after she gives birth early next year.
A source revealed, “She had been set to sign with them, but then she got pregnant. So this was the perfect compromise.”
The contract with Weight Watchers would give Simpson a year to use their point-counting system to “lose a significant amount of weight”.
Jessica has been enjoying her pregnancy, seeming to believe she can eat whatever she likes these days. But she needs to remember that will just be more weight to lose later!
Simpson, who had a baby shower this weekend at her Hollywood home, recently said she is “bigger than ever” but enjoyed showing off her bump!
She said, “I like wearing things more fitted. You want to show off your bump! It’s just so fun. You don’t want to wear muumuus so you can moo around town.”
“I’m definitely bigger than I’ve ever been [but I've] never felt so connected with my body in my life.”
