A British woman woke up from her third breast implant procedure and immediately regretted what she'd done.
Model Candy Charms, a 25-year-old resident of Essex, had at least three breast enhancement procedures in recent years -- which brought her cup size up to an astonishing 32LL. Though her modeling career took off after the surgeries, she admitted that she “instantly regretted” the decision.
“For my first breast job I had 420cc silicone, which took me up to about a DD and I loved them,” she told the Daily Mail. “They looked really good.”
“I [realized] the bigger I went, the more money I could make from them,” she added. She decided to have yet another implant procedure.
“'When I woke up from that surgery I instantly regretted it,” she said. “They were huge. They were pushed up towards my collarbone and I struggled with day to day life.”
Charms reduced her size slightly, though a large gap remained between her breasts and she began to wonder if she’d taken the enhancement too far.
The model traveled to Los Angeles to consult with doctors Terry Dubrow and Paul Nassif, who work on the E! Network show Botched.
“Your breasts are in great distress. What I think you should consider is to take them down to a reasonable size and immediately do a lift on them,” Dubrow informed her.
“Yeah that's something I've tried to avoid all the time,” she replied. “At this time I wouldn't be able to go that small.”
“I know that I'm not gonna keep them forever but at the moment I don't want to go down that small, it's not something I'm willing to do with my career,” Charms added.
Charms said that she ultimately wants to close the gap between her breasts rather than get the size reduced, as she doesn’t want to risk losing income and fans.
“I do have quite a large gap in between them so I’m just hoping I can close that gap. Right now I still want to keep the size because I need to maintain my website,” she said. “I know that’s a lot of weight pulling on my chest so I want to get the best surgeon I can to fix them.”
In another case of plastic surgery gone wrong, a woman who got butt implants was shocked when she was able to flip her implant over visibly while it was inside of her, causing her behind to appear unnaturally flat.
According to the Daily Star, the woman said, “I don’t think an implant is supposed to do that. It shouldn’t be able to flip.”
