A British woman known as the "Human Barbie" is making sure the old adage "like mother, like daughter" comes true by buying her 7-year-old daughter breast implants.
Sarah Burge, who is radio and TV presenter in Britain, has become famous worldwide for spending upwards of $1 million on plastic surgery so she could look like the iconic doll Barbie. (Nevermind that a real Barbie would be unable to stand upright because of her impossible body dimensions.)
According to a report from the British tabloid Metro, Burge's daughter Poppy recently celebrated her seventh birthday. Her gift from mom? A gift certificate for breast implants, to be used when she is 16 years old.
"I wanted a new computer, a holiday and a voucher for surgery. When I got it all, it was a dream come true. I can’t wait to be like mummy with big boobs," Poppy said.
She "squealed with delight" when she got the voucher.
And what If Poppy doesn't need the enhancement? "If she develops naturally big boobs, she can have something else done with it," said Burge, 50.
It was all part of a $20,000 "exotic pamper party" birthday celebration that included manicures in the back of a pink bus.
Get your "Mother of the Year" ballots ready, folks.
