Beat Mindless Snacking on Long Car Trips

Since most of my close friends live quite the commute away, I have found that one of my biggest areas of food-struggle takes place in the car, where I find myself speaking with more drive-thru people than my body would like me to. After doing some serious googling and pantry raiding, I have put together this list of healthy snacks that are easy to grab and take with you on the go!

  • String cheese
  • Terra chips
  • Whole grain crackers
  • Fresh fruit
  • Trail mix
  • Granola
  • Baby carrots
  • Celery sticks (yuck, I hate celery)
  • Pita chips and hummus
  • Snack-sized sandwiches
