Emergency Contraception is 'Good Deal for Pedophiles' Says Conservative Laura Ingraham (Video)

Conservative radio host, Laura Ingraham, slammed the Obama administration for complying with a court order and allowing over-the-counter emergency contraception, Plan B, to be sold to females of any age, which Ingraham called a "good deal for pedophiles" (video below).

The Obama administration had originally opposed allowing anyone under 15 to buy emergency contraception but was taken to court and lost.

Instead of continuing to appeal the judge's decision, the Obama administration has chosen to obey the court's ruling, noted

Ingraham suggested on "Fox & Friends" that emergency contraception somehow negates the law regarding statutory rape, which it does not.

Ingraham claimed that parents would favor Plan B for their "little girl" and rapist, rather than call the police.

“It’s a good deal for pedophiles, a good deal for people who commit statutory rape against young girls," Ingraham said. "If mothers and fathers across this country hear this and they think, ‘Well, I guess my daughter or her boyfriend or her rapist can go out to a pharmacy and get a bunch of, you know, hormone pills to give a little girl. We don’t really know the effect of a spiking or dropping a little girl’s, in many cases a young woman’s or a little girl’s hormonal levels. It’s outrageous.”

She added: “These girls can’t get their ears pierced, they can’t take an Advil at school without parental permission. Yet, they can go into a pharmacy in this brave new world of women’s equality and, quote, reproductive health and get a morning-after pill."

Ingraham failed to mention that no one has ever died from an overdose of contraception, but people have died from an overdose of Advil, noted the National Institutes of Health.

Ingraham also failed to mention the diseases that can be spread via an unclean ear piercing such as Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV/AIDS and herpes, according

Without emergency contraception, a young rape victim would have to get an abortion or give birth to a rapist's baby — an option which Ingraham did not mention or oppose.

Ingraham was not the only one to oppose this type of health care for young females. Several conservative groups called access to Plan B a "pedophile's dream" and "child abuse," reports
