Baby Born Inside Fully-Intact Amniotic Sac (Video)

A baby in Spain was born fully inside of its amniotic sac -- an incredibly rare occurrence (video below).

On Aug. 6, a mother gave birth to twins in Spain. Minutes after the first baby was born, doctors were shocked as they delivered the second twin in its fully intact amniotic sac. A video taken after the baby's birth was shared online and has since gone viral.

The incredible video shows the newborn lying on a hospital table, in the fetal position inside the sac.

The baby, which still has its umbilical cord attached, begins moving more throughout the video, signaling to doctors that it is ready to be released.

Normally, the amniotic sac breaks before the mother goes into labor, which is commonly referred to as the "water breaking."

According to the Daily Mail, a baby is born in its amniotic sac just once in every 80,000 births.

The video has been seen by more than 6.8 million people.
