The number of children with nut-related allergies has inexplicably skyrocketed within the last decade, leaving parents unsure how to best protect their children from sometimes fatal allergic reactions. A new study developed by Duke University researchers offers a glimmer of hope for those parents, as doctors appear to have developed a treatment plan that can eliminate peanut allergies. Five children have reportedly already been successfully treated.
