Much has been said about the side effects of FDA-approved eyelash enhancement drug Latisse, but is spokeswoman Claire Danes secretly suffering from an adverse reaction? Page Six writes, “a source claims that Danes’ makeup artist has to plaster on concealer to cover the purplish and yellowish shade,” and that the damage to the area around her eyes is pretty hard to cover up.
Latisse is a glaucoma medication that became a lash lengthener as the side effect was more desirable than the original use. Other less desirable side effects have been mentioned for the drug including irritation and staining of the eyelid. Could this be happening to the drug’s spokeswoman?
It is possible, but I haven’t seen this happen to any of the few people I have written for the drug. Then again I have not seen them much since I wrote the prescription.
