We just couldn't believe the response to the momlogic articlewe wrote last year, wherein we listed the horrific incidents of children accidentally killed by firearms in the U.S.
One statistic in our piece was utterly heartbreaking: "More than 500 children die annually from accidental gunshots." Now a website, Damnum Absque Injuria, claims that since the U.S. population teeters at over 300 million, "500 is a statistical zero." What's worse is that the site comes to this conclusion using what they call "dadlogic."
What would be logical is this: If you must have firearms in your home, KEEP YOUR GUNS LOCKED AWAY FROM CHILDREN.
How can anyone claim "logic" when they minimize the death of a child?
