The next time Harold and Kumar go to White Castle, they might be able to get alcohol with their dozens of "sliders." One restaurant in Indiana has begun experimenting with booze.
The New York Daily News reports that a White Castle in Lafayette now serves beer and wine.
“For now, this is a one-restaurant test,” company spokesperson Jamie Richardson told the newspaper. “Our thought is to learn as much as we can from customers and our team members to see if this is something that might have merit for other locations."
In addition to serving alcohol, the White Castle in Lafayette is a unique in another way -- it is combined with a local BBQ joint and serves food from that restaurant along with the tasty little square burgers.
This fusion with other restaurants is another experiment White Castle has launched in order to mix things up for the 21st century.
