CNN’s spritely news host has such great theatrical range. We’ve already seen him overcome by a giggle fit on national television, and now we’ve seen him appear genuinely livid.
Anderson Cooper is not known for his temper, but the normally mild-mannered talk show host appeared to lose his cool during a Tuesday taping when he told a British mother who calls herself the “Human Barbie” that he found her “dreadful” and wanted her off his show.
Sarah Burge, 51, is a plastic surgery addict who appeared on Cooper’s daytime talker to defend her decision to buy her teenage daughter Botox injections and provide her seven-year-old daughter with cosmetic surgery vouchers supposedly intended for a breast augmentation procedure, according to the Daily News.
“I try to be really polite to all my guests,” said Cooper, looking revolted. “I just think you’re dreadful and I honestly don’t want to talk to you anymore. I honestly have nothing more to talk to you about, I’ve got to be honest.”
“That’s fine,” Burge repeats over and over as she walks unceremoniously off the stage.
Burge initially denied helping her 17 year old get Botox, but backtracked after she got caught in the lie. She insists that her daughter needed the injections to prevent her from sweating during dance performances.
“You don’t see Beyonce sweating on stage,” Burge asserts.
“Yes, you do,” quips Cooper.
This mother-of-the-year candidate also apparently bought pole-dancing lessons for her younger daughter when she was only 6 years old. I guess the boob job coupons were a graduation present.
