Eight-month-old Baby Louise recently saw her mother Megan McMorris for the first time after being fitted with a pair of special glasses.
According to MedicalDaily.com, the special moment was caught on video (below) and uploaded to YouTube where it has been viewed over 5 million times since Jan. 13.
In two other videos (below), McMorris sings "Amazing Grace" and "Over The Rainbow" to her smiling baby.
Baby Louise was born with albinism, which affects the skin, hair, and eyes.
The Mayo Clinic website states that albinism can affect the eyes with: "Rapid, involuntary back-and-forth movement of the eyes (nystagmus); Inability of both eyes to stay directed at the same point or to move in unison (strabismus); Extreme nearsightedness or farsightedness; Sensitivity to light (photophobia); Abnormal curvature of the front surface of your eye or the lens inside your eye (astigmatism), which causes blurred vision."
