When I started this blog, I had no idea that there was an entire community of bloggers to connect with.

Fitbloggin Conference 2011

Here are 5 Fab Bloggers who enhance my day.

1. Mari, who blogs at Namaste Mari, was the first blogger I met in real life. Her story of overcoming a dark period period of her life to now leading a healthy life will inspire anyone. In the past year she has gone from training for her first 5k to planning her first marathon in 2012. In real life Mari is as sweet and personable as she is on her blog and I’m happy to call her a friend in real life.

2. When I mention to someone that I read something on a “mommy” blog, people respond coyly, “What are you doing reading mommy blogs… are you trying to tell us something?” The only thing I’m trying to tell you is that “mommy blogs” aren’t just for “mommies.” Jill, aka Glamamom, is the most fabulous mom I know. Reading her blog adds a little posh spice to my sporty spice life.

3. Each of us has that something that we pour our heart and soul into and allows us to expose our true self. For Gina, who’s goal is to run 50 marathons in 50 different states, that thing is running. On her blog, Walk to the Mailbox, she shares intimate details of the emotional and physical side of running 26.2 miles. When I read Gina’s words, I feel connected to her every word. Her passion and love for the sport is uncontainable and will inspire anyone to reach for their goals.

I’m not sure if guys appreciate being called “fabulous” but I’m going out on a limb here to say that these guys are fab!

4. No Meat Athlete has become an amazing resource for vegetarian runners. Matt’s posts are always well written, informative and a great resource.

5. I think Fat Cyclist was the first blog I ever read. He is guaranteed to make you laugh, cry, and learn that life is to be lived to its fullest. By the way if you’re in need of a good laugh today be sure to readAn Open Letter to Lance Armstrong.

Don’t forget to enter the 50 Fabulous Wishes contest for a chance to win $1,000 to celebrate a friend with a refreshing attitude about looking and feeling fabulous. I was selected for this Tropicana Trop50 sponsorship by the Clever Girls Collective, which endorses Blog With Integrity, as I do. I received compensation to use and facilitate my post.
