There were two winners in Tuesday's massive Mega Millions lottery. However, the winners better beware -- the winning numbers were very similar to the cursed numbers on the television show "Lost."
Because of frenzied ticket sales, the jackpot climbed to $380 million, just $10 million shy of the U.S. record. The winning tickets were sold in Washington state and Idaho.
The winners could each take their $190 million in 26 annual payments. Or they could take a lump sum of $81 million (that's after taxes).
The winning numbers were 4, 8, 15, 25 and 47, with the Mega ball number of 42. Four of the six winning numbers matched the numbers that Hugo "Hurley" Reyes played on "Lost" -- 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42.
Those numbers played a prominent role throughout the series and were apparently jinxed, although producers frustratingly never explained why.
Anyone who played those numbers won $150 and likely will be cursed for the rest of their lives.
