Is Howard Stern going to be a judge on “America’s Got Talent”? It sure looks that way!
The radio star is reportedly in “serious negotiations” with NBC to replace Piers Morgan, who just announced he was leaving the show.
If Howard cuts the deal, he will sit on the panel alongside Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel.
The Wall Street Journal has reported that Howard could pocket around $15 million a year with the show.
Stern previously spoke about wanting to be a judge on a talent show program such as “American Idol”, but it never came to fruition…until now.
Howard slammed the “American Idol” judges last year, stating, “They’ve got a bunch of people on there who don’t have an opinion.
“Judging is an interesting thing. What I do for a living is a lot more complicated than judging. I have to wake up people. I compete in radio markets and to sit there and judge a karaoke contest, the one criteria would be to have an opinion.
“It seems that two or three of the judges barely have an opinion.”
