Watch This Reporter Quit Her Job In Dramatic Fashion (Video)

Charlo Greene, a former reporter for KTVA-TV, made headlines late Sunday night when she quit her job in very dramatic fashion.

During the 10 p.m. airing of the local news, Greene did a report on a medical marijuana business called the Alaska Cannabis Club. After concluding the seemingly normal segment, she revealed that she was the club’s owner and that she had no choice but to quit her job as a reporter.

See the unveiling for yourselves in the video below (Warning: Language).

Slightly longer version:

“Now everything you've heard is why I, the actual owner of the Alaska Cannabis Club, will be dedicating all of my energy toward fighting for freedom and fairness, which begins with legalizing marijuana here in Alaska," she said. "And as for this job, well, not that I have a choice but, f**k it, I quit.”

And then she walked off.

The Alaska Dispatch News reached out to Greene later on and asked why she wanted to quit in such dramatic fashion.

"Because I wanted to draw attention to this issue,” she replied. “And the issue is medical marijuana. Ballot Measure 2 is a way to make medical marijuana real ... most patients didn’t know the state didn’t set up the framework to get patients their medicine.

"If I offended anyone, I apologize,” she added. “But I’m not sorry for the choice that I made.”

KTVA released this statement: "We sincerely apologize for the inappropriate language used by a KTVA reporter during her live presentation on the air tonight. The employee has been terminated."
