Catherine Hardwicke, director of the first “Twilight” film, recently revealed that during his audition with current girlfriend Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson was quite nervous.
At the Sundance Film Festival, Hardwicke said,
“Yeah, he was nervous. I mean I think at that time he didn’t know what was going on with his career. Was he gonna you know … [where] is your next job coming from?” She also mentioned, “I know he [Rob] really liked Kristen, you know he liked her movies” and added that she had no doubt he “had a crush from the beginning” on Stewart.
In addition, she claims that before the first “Twilight” film was released, people around her thought interest in the movie would be limited to “…only 400 girls in Salt Lake City – texting.”
We are so glad she didn’t listen to the people around her – what would life be like without Twilight.
