Rapper Chris Brown has once again found himself embroiled in controversy, this time with Fox News reporter Andy Levy, who threw the first punch. Recently on Twitter, Brown tweeted, "No more planking for me unless it's on a sexy lady! Lol" And then, unprovoked, Levy replied with, "You spelled "punching" wrong."
Chris responded, "Children conduct themselves better! Much love and success!" Brown’s fans escalated the situation, tweeting abuse at Andy, who decided to make a scathing public apology (video below).
"Now in the light of day, I'd like to apologize to Chris Brown and to his fans, who are known as Team Breezy," Andy said on the Fox News show ‘Red Eye.’ "To Mr. Brown, I apologize for referencing the fact that you beat the crap out of Rihanna. It was disrespectful of me to draw attention to the fact that you put your girlfriend in the hospital. And further it was not my place to help people remember that you beat a woman with your fists, leaving her with multiple facial contusions, a bloody nose and a split lip.
"I can only hope to one day mature to the point where I can conduct myself in a more adult manner, possibly by throwing a chair out of a window and storming out of a building with my shirt off," Levy added, a reference to Chris' meltdown after a 'Good Morning America' interview.
Chris took to Twitter to respond, tweeting, "Most news channels actually let people know about the problems in the world instead of worrying about me as an entertainer!"
