Video: Movie Trailers for Ang Lee’s 'Life of Pi'

We have a couple of new clips and a featurette for Ang Lee’s Life of Pi which opened the New York Film Festival last month to great acclaim.  It’s been talked about in the same breath as awards season practically since it was announced and now what promises to be one of the more visually stunning films (in 3D no less) of the year, is less than a month from release here in the US.

“Director Ang Lee (Brokeback Mountain, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) creates a groundbreaking movie event about a young man who survives a tragic disaster at sea and is hurtled into an epic journey of adventure and discovery. While marooned on a lifeboat, he forms an amazing and unexpected connection with the ship’s only other survivor — a fearsome Bengal tiger.” – named Richard Parker!

Lee directed from a script by Oscar-nominated David Magee (Finding Neverland), adapted from the critically acclaimed novel by Yann Martel . The film stars newcomer Suraj Sharma, Irrfan Khan, Tabu, Rafe Spall (not Tobey Maguire) and Gérard Depardieu and will be released in 3D in the US on November 21 (Thanksgiving weekend, a BIG movie weekend), and in the UK on 21st December. You can check out everything we have on Life of Pihere.
