Video: 'Dancing With The Stars All-Stars' Week 9 Recap, Semi Finals

It's semi-final time on Dancing With The Stars on tonight's (Monday, November 19) episode. Last week we, very sadly, had to say goodbye to Kirstie Alley and Gilles Marini. At this point in the competition it's anyone's guess who will take the trophy home.

To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the release of Michael Jackson's album Bad, the partners will each dance to a song from BAD25, the album to celebrate the anniversary. In addition to that, there will be a pro performance to a medley of two iconic songs from the album.

The couples will also dance a dance style they've not done yet to a theme chosen for them by another couple during last week's elimination show.

Tuesday The Wanted will perform a medley of their songs "I Found You" and "Glad You Came. Paula Abdul returns to dance the "Macy's Stars of Dance" that will feature, among other dancers, Mark Ballas, Chelsie Hightower, Sonny Fredie Pederson, Henry Byalikov, Sharna Burgess and Emma Slater.

And of course it's elimination night on Tuesday November 20 with TWO couples going home.

Keep hitting refresh because we are bringing the action to you live with commentary and scores.

Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani – Caveman Hustle – Oh no, Tony had an injury during rehearsals but he's cleared to dance. I hope he doesn't hurt it during this performance. Love the dinosaur. The costumes are cute and the dance is cute but what is the criteria for this type of dance? This is kind of like a freestyle isn't it? They've done really well with the music.

Scores: 9/9.5/9 = 27.5/30

Michael Jackson tribute: Song: Dirty Diana Dance: Argentine Tango –  Love red on this woman. what an amazing dance with such incredible choreography. With the only one being left in the competition that hasn't won a trophy, I really hope she takes it.

Scores: 10/10/10 = 30/30

TOTAL: 57.5/60

Shawn Johnson and Derek Hough – Bhangra to the theme from Knight Rider – Bhangra is a traditional Indian folk dance that is done at celebrations and despite Derek's trepidation, he has brought in an expert to help them and he will do amazing because he always does. Seriously they did amazingly well!!! Great choreography and their energy is endless. I really don't know how they do it and Shawn remains smiling throughout the entire thing and doesn't even look winded (although Carrie Ann remarked how she is breathing hard for the first time).

Scores: 10/10/10 = 30/30

Michael Jackson tribute – Song: Bad Dance: Argentine Tango – What intense rehearsals! Shawn is bringing the sexy to this routine with that outfit. Theirs was an exceptional number, but I can't help but being blown away by Melissa and Tony's because it was so very intricate.

Scores: 9/10/10 = 29/30

TOTAL:  59/60

Apolo Anton Ohno and Karina Smirnoff – Big Top Jazz routine – They have been putting in a lot of hours this week and are as dedicated as ever. Apolo is finding it difficult during the rehearsals, but they always come through. Their choreography is extremely difficult, but like the other dances I'm not sure what the judges are looking for in this but their routine is very impressive from a stamina point-of-view although it is a little chaotic and all over the place if that makes sense. Apolo indicated they did 45 hours of rehearsals this week alone!

Scores: 8.5/9/9.5 = 27/30

Michael Jackson Tribute – Song: Man In The Mirror,  Dance: Rumba – Love this MJ song. I wonder how difficult this is for his mother in the audience? Karina and Apolo's dance really does this song justice. But is it enough for a semi-final dance? He didn't seem to do too much during this performance it was mostly Karina. It will be interesting to see what the judges say. Carrie Ann loved it. Len referred to it as a wave after wave of effortless motion, and Bruno thought it was great with the flow being perfection.

Scores: 10/10/10 – 30/30

TOTAL: 57/60

Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke – The Espionage Lindy Hop – I like that suit on Cheryl. While their dance is pretty good at times they seemed to be 'off' but  I don't know if that's the way it's supposed to be. Not my favorite dance tonight. The judges all loved it. I swear it felt like I was watching a different dance than them.

Scores: 9/9/9 = 27/30

Michael Jackson tribute – Song: Leave Me Alone, Dance: Tango - I love Emmitt and think he's just a sweetheart and class act of a guy, but in my mind, I think Gilles should still be here. That's just my opinion and I don't mean any disrespect to either of these two. Having said that, this was Emmitt's best dance. Great choreography and moves.

Scores: 9/9/9 – 27/30

TOTAL: 54/60

Kelly Monaco and Val Chmerkovskiy – Surfer Flamenco – Something tells me that as challenging as this dance may be these two are going to nail it. But during the rehearsals if you close your eyes, you think it's Maks talking. Loved this dance despite the fact that Bruno doesn't think the arm placement was very good. Val's shirt and pants came off and to me they deserve a perfect score for that.

Scores: 8/9/8.5 = 25.5

Michael Jackson tribute – Song: I Can't Stop Loving You, Dance: Rumba – Are these two 'in love' or what? Kelly said during rehearsals that she has trouble with intimacy, but you would never know it with Val. Kelly is one of the best celebrity dancers on this show. She definitely deserves to win. Watching these two do this dance, I feel like it's a peek into a very private moment. Not that they've left much to our imagination. That was seriously so beautiful. it's like they forgot the audience was there.

Scores: 9.5/9.5/9.5 = 28.5/30

TOTAL: 54/60

Double elimination tomorrow night. Can you believe it? Who do you think is going home?
