Nashville recording artist Lauren Alaina, who finished second on last season’s 'American Idol,' dropped the ball while singing the National Anthem before the Green Bay vs. Detroit football game on Thanksgiving night.
Alaina started off strong, but trailed off into silence after, “What so proudly we hailed, through the twi…”
“Whose broad stripes and bright stars…,” the country music star continued after a few seconds.
“I’m not a robot,” Alaina later tweeted. “I have no excuses. I messed up. You know what can ya do? At least didn’t fall down again.”
Earlier in the day, 'American Idol' winner Scotty McCreery had a lip-syncing malfunction at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
