Vanessa Paradis Dishes on Split From Johnny Depp

Vanessa Paradis, the actress, singer and long-term partner of Johnny Depp, has finally spoken about her alleged split from Johnny Depp with the following message: “In the winter I separate, in the summer I marry.”

Paradis, 39, made this comment after the premier of her new film, Cafe de Flore, which she attended alone in Paris.

In an interview with Europe 1 radio station, she was asked if her relationship with Depp had ended. She commented: “You know, when I eat three peas, I’m pregnant. When I visit a city, I’m buying a house. In the winter I separate, in the summer I marry. It’s been 15 years since I’ve been getting married every year. In addition I have to answer all these rumours!”

Neither Depp, nor their two children, Lily Rose and Jack, attended the premier for all were in LA.

Paradis shot to fame as a 14-year-old singing a song about a Parisian cabbie called “Joe Le Taxi”, previously spoke about feeling “in the depths of myself” as speculation about her relationship with Depp mounted.

Paradis did not refer to Depp by name, but claimed instead that she did not believe in marriage or soul mates because “if you lose your soul mate everything is done for”. She went on: “Cafe De Flore speaks of love, its joys, its pains and its dramas – to love and to lose. This story upset me, I was upside-down, in the depths of myself.”

She added: “The idea of a soulmate is beautiful and very romantic to talk about it in a movie or a song, but in reality, I find it scary.”

Depp, who used to spend a great deal of time in France, either in Paris or at the couple’s farmhouse near St Tropez, will travel to New Mexico next month to start filming his new movie, The Lone Ranger.
