UPS delivery men have been caught on camera in the past carelessly tossing packages, but one UPS driver went one disgusting step further in Houston, Texas.
Homeowner Ben Lucas' security cameras caught an unidentified UPS driver on video tossing a package over a locked gate and then urinating on the side of Lucas' home on Jan. 8.
"I don't know how UPS trains their employees to deal with situations like going to the bathroom, but it's probably not 'find someone's yard,'" Lucas told KHOU (video below).
"So, you're paying someone to take a package from point A to point B, so basically I paid someone to come to my house and pee on it," added Lucas.
The package reportedly included an ammo cleaning machine, which was damaged, .22 caliber ammunition and chemicals.
"I just wanted [UPS] to hear me and maybe give me an email address where I could send them the video," Lucas told Click2Houston.com (video below). "They simply just didn't want to see it."
However, after Lucas posted the surveillance video on the UPS Facebook page, a Houston UPS supervisor called him, apologized and sent him a "we're sorry" gift.
Lucas did get a replacement ammo cleaning machine.
UPS told Click2Houston.com in a written statement, "UPS was dismayed by actions that violated decency and delivery care. The local management team did take action to terminate the individual who was a seasonal delivery helper. However, they were wrong if they did not clarify this resolution with Mr. Lucas at the time. UPS sincerely apologizes to our customer. No behavior like this is acceptable."
