Thor's Brother Loki to be Bisexual in New Marvel Comic

The upcoming Nov. 6 film "Thor: The Dark World" will feature Chris Hemsworth once again in the title role and Thor’s devious brother, Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston.

In addition to the movie, Marvel Comics is planning to release the comic book "Loki: Agent of Asgard" in 2014.

According to The Quire, in Norse mythology Loki is "a cunning trickster who had the ability to change his shape and sex."

The comic's writer Al Ewing was recently asked by a fan how Loki’s sexuality will be shown in the comic.

Ewing wrote on his Tumblr blog: "Yes, Loki is bi and I’ll be touching on that. He’ll shift between genders occasionally as well."

However, there's no word on whether Loki will be portrayed as bisexual in the upcoming film.

Audiences can expect more adventures featuring Marvel Comics' characters. A second Captain America movie is in production, there is the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D television series, a Guardians of the Galaxy film and an Avengers film sequel "Age of Ultron."
