The Sunday Scoop: Hinkle Books Seven-Figure FTOPS Score

The Erick Lindgren hosted $600+$40 FTOPS main event drew a whopping 14,479 entrants helping create a huge $8,687,400 prize pool.

By the time they reached three-handed play early Monday morning, Hinkle had a commanding lead and a deal was struck, giving him $1,145,000, GIAMPP $830,000 and Sirmad $805,440.26.

They left $65k and the final FTOPS title of the series to play for and GIAMPP ended up booking the win.

In the meantime, the FTOPS two-day $2,000+$100 Six-Max Event #40 that drew 1,036 also ended Sunday in a three-way chop.

NextCase222 collected $332,041.25 and the FTOPS jersey beating enterthewu19 ($282,245.16) heads up and leaving bonafidedonkey ($310,861.59) third.

Finally, FTOPS Event #44, the $240+$16 Six-Max Knockout drew 6,127 entrants with Aussie online poker star James "AndyMcloed" Obst getting the best of a four-way chop and the title.

He notched a $163,365.07 payday while King2173 ($131,611.93) finished runner-up and Baby Drake ($143,459.96) and selinantis ($112,037.23) took third and fourth respectively.

Over on PokerStars, the $215 Sunday Million surpassed its $1.5 million guarantee yet again, drawing 9,178 players to build a $1,835,600 prizepool.

arabella1722 booked the win and $196,706.57 beating surfstar33 ($169,935.84) heads-up.

However, another chop at the top left ZBTHorton1 as the event's biggest winner. He took $224,884.55 from the pool despite finishing third.

The rest of the Sunday Majors featured a couple of near misses for a pair of the online game's biggest stars.

Isaac "westmenloAA" Baron took third in the PokerStars $530 Sunday 500 for $52,479.70 as APD0290 went on to book a $94,010 win.

And finally, Justin "ZeeJustin" Bonomo grabbed fifth in in Full Tilt's $200+$16 Sunday Mulligan for $16,860 while IMVDJJ collected $60,415 for the win.
