Suer Seeks Career Score at Borgata Winter Final

World Series of Poker bracelet winners Smith and Papola finished 21st and 37th respectively as Ukranian Vadim Shlez, who has a handful of WSOP cashes on his short resume, built a substanital chip lead heading into the ten-handed final.

Just under him sits the unknown LJ Sande, Atlantic City grinder Trevor Savage and Suer, who would eclipse the $501,082 he earned making runner-up at the 2009 WPT Southern Poker Championship with a win.

Osafyefo Greene, Atlantic City regular Gil Sacks, New Yorker Steve Ryan, 2008 WPT Borgata finisher Pat Carney, Virginian Tom Hu and North Carolina's Allan Vrooman round out the final ten.

The final table is set ot go off at 11 a.m. ET Friday with a $533,210 first-place prize on the line.

Everyone in the top ten is guaranteed at least $28,729.

The $3,500 event began Sunday drawing 718 players to create a $2,369,400 prize pool.
