It’s all off again. Apparently. Definitely. Maybe. Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy have reportedly given their fickle romance the two-finger salute.
According to Britain’s News of the World, royal spawn Harry was unceremoniously dumped by Davy, 24, after six years of elevator love (up one minute, down the next).
Davy is quoted as telling one of her girlie mates:
“We’re finished. This is a new beginning for me. I want to start my career in South Africa where I plan to spend the rest of my life. I don’t want to live in Britain.”
The twosome separated briefly in 2007, and again last year amid talk Davy had grown tired of Harry’s ‘playboy antics’. Oh, naughty ginge!
Of the doomed romance, an ‘insider’ says:
“It was a gradual end to the relationship. It whimpered out.
“It’s not practical with Harry’s commitments to the Army and his family to be in a relationship with someone in a different country. It was an obvious time for a clean break. The spark is gone and she’s focused on moving back to be where her heart lies.”
The snitch added: “She was distraught when they split last year but it’s different now. She knows she did everything to make it work.”
Well obviously not enough. But it takes two to tango, as they say. Mind you, ‘they’ say a lot. Bloody cynical outsiders. We digress…
Chin up you two, it might never happen. Oh.
