Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel, the duo who met in a Queens, N.Y. elementary school before launching legendary music careers, will tour again for the first time since 2004. The announcement follows last week's surprise reunion performance at New York’s Beacon Theatre.
The BBC says that Garfunkel confirms a tour is in the works, but the singer wouldn't say what countries or cities would be included.
With such hits as “The Sound of Silence,” “Bridge Over Troubled Water” and “The Boxer,” Simon & Garfunkel last performed together in 2003 and 2004 -- their first tour since the early 1980s, according to the BBC.
