Rupert Sanders Forbidden to Direct 'Snow White' Sequel, by Wife Liberty Ross

Liberty Ross, the scorned (but very forgiving) wife of Rupert Sanders, has reportedly forbidden him from directing the sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman.

According to sources, Liberty has told Rupert that if they are going to try to work things out and get past his fling with Kristen Stewart, then he can’t direct any films that Kristen will appear in… ever again. This including the Snow White and the Huntsman sequel, which was Rupert’s directorial debut.

While Rupert is a bit disappointed that he can’t direct the sequel and try to make a name for himself in Hollywood, he obviously understands his wife’s point of view and has agreed to “bit the bullet.” It’s also presumed that since Kristen is the star of the movie, the studio will give her preference and find another director, rather than trying to replace her.

Luckily for Rupert, his initial contract with Universal was only for one movie, so he will not be in breach of his contract by backing out of the sequel.
