Prince Michael Jackson will reportedly testify at his father’s wrongful death trial. Prince’s grandmother, Katherine Jackson, filed a wrongful death suit against This Is It concert promoter AEG alledging that the company was responsible for Jackson’s death.
Prince, who was 12 at the time of his father’s death, will take the stand to testify about specific conversations and situations that happened up until Jackson’s death in 2009.
“Prince absolutely plans on testifying. Prince very much wants to take the stand and plans to tell jurors about specific conversations he had with his father about AEG,” a source said. “Prince will also testify about the fateful day his father died, as he was an eyewitness to the efforts that were made to save his life. There are no plans for either Paris or Blanket to testify though.”
Dr. Conrad Murray was sentenced to four years and is serving his sentence for involuntary manslaughter for the death of Michael Jackson.
