After dropping 3 million viewers over the past three weeks, the producers of 'Charlie's Angels' are going to feature a girl-on-girl kiss to raise eyebrows and, hopefully, ratings. Minka Kelly and co-star Rachel Taylor locked lips for the TV show this month in Miami Beach, Florida.
Besides bad ratings, the show has been savaged by critics. The New York Daily News wrote of the series: "St. Peter himself might not be able to save ABC's new remake of Charlie's Angels."
The Hollywood Reporter wrote: "It’s beyond heinous. It contains some of the worst acting of the last decade on network television, much of it by Minka Kelly."
Back in August there was some behind-the-scenes drama when a crew member allegedly approached Minka and slapped her across the bottom. A set insider told Star magazine: "It seems like it was meant to be a joke, but clearly it was inappropriate. Minka was shocked and absolutely irate. She was still fuming about it hours later. "
The Star also claimed that when the crew member tried to apologize to Minka the next day, but she slapped him across the face. A source added: "The whole set was buzzing about the incident. It was quite a scandal. One day he was there, and the next he was gone."
