Britney Spears is getting ready for a return to the spotlight. She is set to release a new album, "Femme Fatale" later this month. One single has already topped the charts, and another is climbing it. Oh, and she posed for perhaps her most revealing photo spread ever.
The Daily Mail reports Spears appears on the cover of Out magazine. The April issue of the gay magazine is dedicated to "Ladies We Love," including Spears and other luminaries such as Phyllis Diller and Tippi Hedren.
Inside, Spears appeared scantily-clad, revealing her rarely seen inner-thigh tattoos.
Spears has clearly gotten into great shape, following years of sometimes cruel mocking in the media that she was getting flabby after having two children and eating junk food. Spears does tell the magazine that her idea of hell was "being on a diet."
The world could be seeing much, much more of Spears. A former bodyguard who is suing Spears for sexual harassment (and $9 million) claims to have nude photos of the singer, and is threatening to release them.
A friend of bodyguard Fernando Flores told The Sun, "'They are really explicit images that will shock and disgust the majority of her fans."
However Spears denies the existence of the photos and allegations that she made unwanted advances towards Flores.
