Kim Kardashian has made out like a bandit on her wedding. First, she cashed in $300,000 for the engagement announcement in May and made another $100,000 from OK! magazine for the bridal shower photos. Now she has sold the official wedding pictures to People, which bought the rights for 1.5 million.
On the cover of People, Kim poses, without dear husband Kris, in an ivory custom-made strapless Vera Wang gown. She holds a cream rose bouquet with a Lorraine Schwartz diamond encrusted headpiece, all part of her staggering $10 million jewelry accessories.
Speaking about the wedding to People, Kim said, “It was like we were in heaven.” Her husband added: ‘I'm going to remember how perfect it was.” The two tied the knot on Saturday at a private home in Montecito, California in front several TV cameras and 450 guests, including: Ryan Seacrest, Lindsay Lohan, Eva Longoria, Mel B, Venus and Serena Williams, Avril Lavigne and Demi Lovato.
Kim was married in the Vera Wang creation that boasted a full tulle skirt, a basque waist a Chantilly lace-covered bodice and long train. Her mother, Kris Jenner, also wore a Vera Wang dress.
Following the nuptials, the happy couple, their friends and family enjoyed a lavish reception held in a marquee where they partied until the early hours of the morning. Kim and Kris then flew to Europe before they relocate to New York starting a new life as husband and wife.
How long will it last?
