There will be no funeral service for late star Gary Coleman, it has been confirmed.
Robert Jeffs, the independent lawyer appointed as the special administrator of Coleman’s estate, has just announced the news.
Coleman stipulated in his 2005 will that there should be no funeral services.
Jeffs was appointed as administrator of Coleman’s estate after a row erupted between ex-wife, Shannon Price, and former girlfriend Anna Gray over who should be the biggest beneficiary.
The child star’s remains will be cremated, but it has not been specified when.
Funeral or not, Coleman’s ex Price says she would still like some kind of memorial service.
Her spokeswoman Shielia Erickson told E! News:
“We would love to have a private funeral for family and friends. Shannon has been in bed all day. This is just too much for her. She did not see Gary today. She has been mourning him, though.
“She said to me, ‘Remember when Gary said to you, that he never wanted to be without me - I want to be with him after this life. I always want to be with him. I will never love again!’ She is such a kind person that loves her Gary Coleman.
“They may have had issues at times. But they really did love each other.”
