NBC Announces Fall TV Lineup

NBC announced this morning its new Fall 2010 TV Line-Up. On the docket are returning favorites, such as The Biggest Loser, Chuck, 30 Rock, and The Office, as well as new darlings Parenthood and Community. The peacock network is also committed to bringing back the sitcom and has ordered five new comedies to try to win back the Comedy King title after their whole Leno/Conan debacle of the spring. However, they are not hanging all of their hopes on humor, as they have ordered six new dramas and one spin-off of an old favorite.

"This new schedule brings NBC back to basics with its commitment to quality scripted programming," said NBC-Universal's Chairman of Television Entertainment, Jeff Gaspin. "Our new shows are distinctive and feature a combination of the biggest talent, the brightest new stars and the strongest auspices in television. With this new schedule, we're poised to take the next step toward our long-term goals with a lineup that has stabilized and has been building solid momentum through the second half of the season."
