Mel Gibson just can't keep his mouth from getting him in trouble. The actor seemed annoyed during a satellite interview when a reporter from Chicago pressed him on his personal problems. Gibson told WGN reporter Dean Richards that it was all in the past, and that they should move on. When the interview was over, Gibson said the offending word. Watch it here:
But Gibson says the word was not directed at the reporter. In a text message sent to a Los Angeles reporter, Gibson claimed the insult was aimed at his publicist, who was apparently making faces at the actor off-camera.
