Madonna Announces Her 2012 World Tour - Complete List
Madonna kicked off her return to the music scene with her 2012 Super Bowlhalftime show performance and now she has announced her 2012 World Tour dates!
She will begin her tour in Tel Aviv, Israel on May 29th and it looks like she will be touring through early 2013! This will be her most extensive tour in terms of the number of dates according to Arthur Fogel, CEO of Live Nation Global Touring. The tour will take Madonna to many places that she hasn’t been to in years, including Australia, as well as places she has never played before!
The tour will play arenas, stadiums, and unique outdoor sights, reports Billboard.com, including the Plains of Abraham in Quebec and New York’s Yankee Stadium! The tour will play 25 European markets before heading to North America at the end of August. She will be playing cities in North American up until right before Thanksgiving, then head to Latin America through the holidays, and wrap up her tour in early 2013 in Australia.
Tickets go onsale for Tel Aviv and U.K. dates on February 10th, while her North American dates are scheduled to go on sale February 13th.
So what can we expect on her biggest tour to date??? Fogel tells Billboard.com that the tour is just in it’s beginning stages, but “it will be big and can get bigger.”
The tour will be in support of her upcoming album release, MDNA, which is slated for a March 26th release.
