Elizabeth Hurley has reportedly dumped former Australian cricketer Shane Warne after learning that he allegedly sent a string of sexy text messages to a married Australian businesswoman.
Hurley announced that her marriage to Arun Nayar was over last week, hours after a tabloid report claimed she is having an affair with Australian cricket legend Warne.
The News Of The World published pictures and video of the model and sportsman kissing passionately, and claimed Liz spent two nights with Warne in a luxury London hotel after the spin bowler jetted into town.
According to the News Of The World and and The Sunday Mirror, the romance is now dead.
Hurley supposedly spat the dummy after learning that Warne had allegedly sent more than 100 sexually charged texts to another woman, while also romancing her.
An Australian man, Denis Angeleri, tells the Sunday Mirror that his wife, Adele, had allegedly received suggestive messages from Warne.
The pair had reportedly met when Warne called in to Adele’s clothes shop opposite his office at the Shane Warne Foundation in Melbourne.
They exchanged numbers but Warne allegedly began sending her increasingly suggestive messages, according to the newspaper.
One text allegedly read: “Thinking of you and yes very very horny today!! Big kiss xx”
While another said: “I want to see you riding me.”
A source said: “They exchanged numbers then Shane kept coming into Adele’s shop, chatting her up and texting her.
“At one point he asked if she was married and was told the truth. Shane made all the running but Adele was flattered by the attention. Soon the texts were coming in daily.”
The texts came to light after Adele’s husband confronted her after reading them.
Angeleri also confronted Warne about the texts, who told him, “There weren’t that many texts anyway.”
The lawyer told the Sunday Mirror: “As a person who has a wife who was pursued by him at the same time as Liz, I can tell you that it’s hard to be a fan when you see the texts and how he works.
“My message to Liz would be steer well clear.”
He added: “The only thing Shane Warne is interested in is his d***.’
There’s been no word from Warne on the new scandal, but he did tweet: “The journey of life is about riding its ups/downs. We are all childish, immature at times. It’s about how you bounce back when things are tough.”
Liz has been chirping on Twitter too.
Hurley wrote: “Er… please take any mentions of me in the latest thrilling instalment of the Jerry Springer-esque saga with a LARGE pinch of salt.”
Oh, and Liz says she’s in no hurry to divorce her man either….yet.
“Bored now of silly speculations: no one is divorcing anyone yet, no one is fighting over money and I have no plans to go to Australia. Enough!” she wrote.
