Did Kate Middleton just have a slip-up of royal proportions? While visiting the National Fishing Heritage Centre in Grimsby, England on Tuesday, March 5, Middleton may have let it slip that she is having a girl.
"Thank you, I'll take that for my d--" Middleton said before cutting herself off when a local, Diane Burton handed the Duchess a white teddy bear.
Realizing that Middleton just potentially dropped some big news, another well wisher decided to pry a little more and asked Middleton if she was about to say daughter.
"We're not telling," Middleton replied.
"I said to her: 'You were going to say daughter weren't you?' and she said, 'No, we don't know,” Sandra Cook, another witness who heard the exchange told reporters.
"I said, 'Oh, I think you do', to which she said: 'We're not telling,” Cook continued.
Us Weekly Magazine reports that the royal couple does know the sex of their baby, “but they’ve only told their parents.”
